Approach and scope

Terapia Psicológica is aimed at promoting the dissemination of knowledge and scientific evidence that contributes to the advancement of the discipline. Empirical studies from all areas and specialties of Clinical Psychology (assessment, treatment, prevention, etc.) will be published. The journal may also accept theoretical reviews conducted under the PRISMA methodology, as well as articles addressing variables related to mental health and clinical psychology (from this perspective). Manuscripts may be submitted in Spanish or English. Three issues are published each year (April, July, and December).

Submitted articles must be unpublished and not under review or in the process of publication in another journal. All manuscripts must follow the current version of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA); manuscripts that do not comply with this format will be returned for revision.

Original articles and brief reports will be published. Once the manuscript is received, it will be reviewed by the editors to determine whether the content, structure, writing, style, and formal presentation meet the journal’s requirements.
