Publication Costs
Once the manuscript is received, it will be reviewed by the editors to determine whether its content, formatting, writing style, and formal presentation meet the journal's requirements. If the manuscript fulfills these criteria, it will be assigned to two peer reviewers, who will assess the manuscript's quality and determine whether it is accepted as is, accepted with modifications, or rejected.
If there are doubts about the evaluation, the manuscript will be sent to a third reviewer to decide whether it is accepted with modifications or rejected.
For manuscripts accepted after August 19, 2024, the following costs apply:
- SCPC Member Author: USD $400 or its equivalent in local currency (discount applies if the first author or corresponding author is an active SCPC member).
- Latin American Non-Member Author: USD $900 or its equivalent in local currency.
- Non-Member Author: USD $1200 or its equivalent in local currency.
For submissions received before August 19, 2024, the following costs apply:
- SCPC Member Author: USD $350 or its equivalent in local currency.
- Latin American Non-Member Author: USD $650 or its equivalent in local currency.
- Non-Member Author: USD $1000 or its equivalent in local currency.
