Abstract
The psychological effects of traumatic events, especially those related to war or armed conflict are important in the life of actors and victims of the same, which not only belong to the civilian population, but in most cases are part of the army and police. In this article, there is a review on traumatic stress and its implications in the armed forces (as part of the conflict). On the other hand, the benefits of psychoanalytic group psychotherapy are explained as well as its application in this population.
